Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC), Programmatic Documentation

AScIS works through the complex Systems Engineering (SE) processes at the program level to deliver strategic solutions, including current and future system documentation. AScIS performs Technical Writing and has a full time staff Senior Level Technical Writer that assists Rylander on the Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC) Computer Network Defense (CND) contract to work through the complex Systems Engineering (SE) processes at the program level to deliver strategic solutions, including current and future system documentation.

This project was broken down into four (4) phases. Phase 1 efforts were divided into two parts. Part 1 documented Initial Operational Capabilities (IOC) and Full Operational Capabilities (FOC)..Adidtional documentation included, AV-1, AV-2, and a Prometheus Roadmap. Part 2 of Phase 1 included Functional Description Documents (FDD) and System Description Document (SDD)s for each piece of the Prometheus system. Part 2 also included Gap Analysis, multiple Prometheus Diagrams, OV-1 and a Prometheus Operational Document (POD). Upon success of Phase 1, NCDOC has continued to utilize Rylander and ASIS to extend the contract through Phases 2, 3, and 4. These Phases include all aspects of Risk Management, System Testing and Evaluation, Validation abnd Verification (V&V), Technical Documentation, and Hardware and Software implementation documentation. Phase 3 included Feasibility Study, Measure of Effectiveness/Measure of Performance (MOE/MOP), Initial Capabilities, and Requirements Forms. Phase 4 templates are currently being developed for NCDOC use while Phases 5 and 6 are in the planning stages. .
